Government Structure:
Executive: The executive authority of Bermuda is vested in Her Majesty the Queen of England. It is exercised by His Excellency the Governor, either directly or through officers subordinate to him. This includes the Premier and his Cabinet who are appointed by the Governor. The Premier and the Cabinet members are chosen from among the members of the House of Assembly. Not less than one or more than two shall be appointed from among the Senators.
Legislative: The bicameral parliament consists of 36 elected members in the House of Assembly and 11 appointed members in the Senate.
